Buy Pixels

Pixels on Million Dollar Homepage Canada are available in 100 pixel 'blocks', with each block measuring 10x10 pixels. The homepage is divided into 10,000 of these blocks. The reason for selling them in these blocks is because anything smaller than 10x10 pixels would be too small to display anything meaningful.

Place your Order:

  1. Read the Terms and Condition below.
  2. Select your desired block or set of blocks (in any formation) from the unsold blocks.
  3. Calculate the total price of your desired block(s).
  4. Create your non-animated GIF or JPEG image for your block(s) to ensure the look of your image is exactly what you want to be displayed on the homepage.
  5. Send the funds to Web Systems Int.(It is recommended that you use PayPal to send the funds for your order). Be sure to pay for the correct amount to prevent any delays in your order.
  6. Send an e-mail to this email address: info@websystemsint.com with the following information:
    • Your first name, last name, e-mail address (if not the same e-mail address that you are sending the order from), and company name (if applicable).
    • Attach your image as a GIF or JPEG (must be correct size for the pixels purchased).
    • The name of the web site you will be linking to.
    • The full URL of the web site's page you will be linking to.
    • The numerical row and column number of the block you wish to "buy"(for sizes you can refer to example pixel sizes below). If "buying" a set of blocks (in a larger block or rectangular grouping), also include the count of blocks across and down that are to be included in your order.
    • The alternate image text (the "ALT" text) you want displayed in a mouseover of your image. Please try to limit the "ALT" text to fifty [50] characters or less.
    • State where you want your graphic to be placed on the homepage (eg. "60 blocks across, 75 blocks down"). Make sure you are certain, because you can't change it later.
  7. Wait for a return e-mail from Web Systems Int. It will either be an acceptance or a denial letter.
  8. If you are accepted and your purchase funds have cleared our PayPal account, you will then be sent an e-mail notification of the fund clearance. Your image and link will then be live within 48 hours of sent e-mail.

Terms and Conditions

  • The minimum purchase is $100 (100 pixels), and the maximum purchase is number of blocks that is left.

  • When you 'buy' the pixels you will not 'own' any part of the homepage or this site, but rather you are granted the right to submit an image and link which will then be published on the homepage in the respective space you have paid for.

  • You cannot change the image or link once you have submitted them, so you must be sure of the image & link you want on the homepage, which will be there for at least 5 years. The only exception is if you have a strong reason why you need a change to your image/link, eg. your site no longer exists, major structural change to your site, lawsuits, etc.

  • If your image and link are accepted and published on the homepage, you cannot get a refund.

  • The site and homepage will be online for at least 5 years (starting from the day it launched), at least until 26th August 2010, but possibly even longer.

  • No obscene/offensive/adult images/links will be accepted, and we decide what is appropriate for this site. If you submit an image or link that is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide an alternative, otherwise your money will be refunded and you will lose your pixels.

  • If your link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show offensive/obscene/adult material then your link will be removed until you provide a new one, and you will not get a refund of any kind for the link downtime.

  • If for any reasons in the future you decide to remove your image and link from the homepage, you need to notify us and we will respond accordingly, but you will not get a refund and the space will become publically available again.

  • Images must be the exact size you have paid for (eg. 100 pixels = 30x10 pixels).

  • Images must be in GIF or JPEG format, and a reasonable file size.

  • Images must NOT be animated .

  • Links must reference to web pages only.

  • You must have the authority to provide the image and link for the website you submit.

  • Funds must be fully recieved and cleared before your pixels go live on the homepage.

  • Once you have ordered and the funds have cleared, we will aim to get your pixels online within 24-48hrs.

 

 
 

UPDATE (03 of Octb): Things are still busy. Current maximum estimated time from ordering your pixels to going live on homepage: 48 hours.

It's still worth getting in the queue as early as you can, in order to reserve your spot on the homepage. Please note if two or more people in the queue ask for the same position on the homepage, the person who ordered earliest will have priority.
